SnoGo

Getting to Cooke City, Montana is cause for driving through Yellowstone. Trailering the snow machines-

The premier snowmobile capital boasts hundreds of miles of untracked powder in every direction. It's a good place to carry a GPS, satellite phone, and avalanche beacons. Crossing from Montana to Wyoming on a 100-mile loop to the "Top of the World" eventually perches us around 12,000ft elevation overlooking, well, just about everything in the area.
